Living Wills

Who will arrange your affairs if you are unable to do so, or if you are no longer able to determine your own will? There can be unpleasant situations when an accident, stroke, or dementia occurs and you can no longer make decisions by yourself. It is advisable that someone you trust can further arrange your affairs and protect your interests. This can be done by drawing up a so-called living will.

In the living will, you appoint one or more persons who are allowed to act on your behalf when you are no longer able to do so. You may decide for yourself in the terms of the living will exactly when it will come into effect, such as with a statement of incapacity from a medical expert.

Further regulations can be included in the living will, such as a euthanasia declaration. For more information about drawing up a living will, we advise you to make an appointment.
